The content and composition, as well as the lighting, follow rigid guidelines in order to perfectly frame the subject. Common gestures often go unnoticed. This is why Rui charges them with value, in order to highlight their uniqueness, for us to stop and consider them. These are images that call our certainties to mind. Although they are automatic, they still require thought and a certain amount of concentration and attention in order to be accomplished. This is why they should be considered unique.
